The Wisconsin Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (WISCCAP) grants up to three (3) travel awards annually to qualified child and adolescent psychiatry fellows, psychiatric residents, and/or medical students.  The purpose of the award is to provide travel financial assistance ($250 or $500) to attend annual meetings of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) in October.
To apply, qualified candidates submit an application that includes a one-page personal statement explaining why s/he would like to attend the meeting and what s/he hopes to accomplish while attending. Travel awards will range from $250 to $500 based on the number and quality of applications. Awardees will submit receipts to the WISCCAP Treasurer for reimbursement within two weeks after the meeting.
Each year, the deadline to submit applications will be June 15. Applications will be reviewed and winners notified by August 1.
